Angela Evelyn Bassett (born April 15th 1960) is an American actress. Angela Evelyn is an American actor. Bassett was born in Winston-Salem North Carolina, raised by her aunt and Uncle in New York New York. Her mother split with her father when she was about five. She and her younger sister went into St. Petersburg Florida with their mother. In high school, Bassett saw John Steinbeck's play Of Mice and Men starring James Earl Jones and decided that she wanted to become an actor. She attended Yale University New Haven Connecticut and graduated with a bachelor's degree (1980) on African American studies and a master's degree (1983) from the Yale School of Drama. Courtney B. Vance met her at Yale and, in 1997 they got married. Qualification: B.A. degree in African-American studies, 1980. Master of Fine Arts degree from the Yale School of Drama School: Jordan Park Elementary School Disston Middle School (seventh grade) Azalea Middle School (eighth and ninth grades) Boca Ciega High School. Angela Bassett has been cast as one of the main roles of Ramonda for the action adventure movie, i.e. Black Panther Wakanda forever 2022.
